An overview of tow.:er® and its implementations.
Background
Towing Events with elastic cables took place in year 2006 with the Broox patent application in mass production of Tower. There have been more towing events before, like the ISPO Winter 05/06 in Germany, but were Tow-in Park Contests using motor snowels. Tower participated to Eurosima Environmental Contest and to ISPO BrandNew Award in 2007. In 2008 Banshee Riverboards re-entered ISPO BrandNew Award with same concept of handle+bungee and Elasticboarding.com used the same safety design. In year 2009 elastic towin is a worldwide practice, and the original Tower is the most powerful/safe (with up to 3 parallel cable in one hand) consumer stuff.

Such boardsport Events are diffused worldwide, doesn't require ramps, and are economic sustainable as follows:
- Electric winch - 3.000,00 EUR each
- Tower system - 300,00 EUR suggested set
